DDC Adult Camp
Dates: October 24-26, 2008
Location: C Quarter Circle Ranch, Gainesville, TX
A wonderful opportunity to spend a weekend learning about dressage and your horse.
Our theme for this camp is "Health and Beauty for Horse and Rider". In addition to ridden lessons there will be off-horse informative
sessions presented by professionals with various expertise on topics such as saddle fitting, equine massage, human skin care &
healthcare for your horse.
Clinician: Lisa Blackmon, USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold Medalist and "L" graduate.
About our clinician: Lisa has spent her life studying and showing horses. For the last 18 years her focus has remained on International Sport Horses. Traveling extensively through Europe, she has had the opportunity to train with some of the best American and European trainers such as Harry Boldt, Reiner Klimke, Conrad Schumacher, Ernst Hoyos, Uwe Steiner, Scott Hassler and others. She earned her USDF Bronze and Silver Medals in 1998 followed by her Gold Medal in 2000.
Lisa graduated from the USDF L judging program with distinction and has entered the USEF dressage and sport horse judging program. She has earned a USDF University Diploma in the study of dressage.
About C Quarter Circle Ranch: The ranch sits on approximately 450 acres in Gainesville and is host to many different events including children's camps, church retreats and equestrian events. A hotel is on site and all meals will be catered by their staff.
Costs: $350 per DDC member - includes two private lessons, several off horse sessions, stabling & all meals Friday evening through Sunday lunch. Hotel rooms are available for $89/night + tax. Contact MaryJean at C Quarter Circle to make your hotel reservations.

DDC Freestyle Clinic
Dates: March 28-30, 2008
Location: Proud Meadows, 4172 FM 1446, Waxahachie, TX
Our clinician will be Cynthia Collins of Luna Tunes Freestyles. Cynthia is an award winning freestyle designer
and her client list has included Hilda Gurney and Whit Whatkins.
The format of the clinic will be a lecture Friday night with rides Saturday and Sunday.
Cynthia can work with riders on different aspects of riding to music. Whether you are interested in
developing a freestyle, working on a freestyle you've already developed or just riding your horse to music, Cynthia can work with you.
Costs:
DDC members: $100 per ride, stabling is included
Non-DDC members: $120 per ride, stabling is included
Auditors:
DDC members can audit at no charge
Non-DDC members can audit at $25 per day, $40 for the weekend
